RI: Concrete thrown at Rhode Island sex offender’s home

Police say someone threw a piece of concrete through the window of a registered sex offender’s home in Providence, Rhode Island. The vandalism occurred at the home of Richard Gardner at around 10:30 p.m. Saturday.

Gardner was convicted of multiple child rapes in the 1980s and 1990s in Rhode Island and Massachusetts. Residents protested Gardner for weeks after he moved into the neighborhood last year following his release from prison. Full Article

Wow, this is the same poor guy that the police themselves leaked the information of becuase his conviction pre dates the requirement to notify.

They had to station a one man polica post outside his house until last Friday. I wonder what that cost. Now a piece of concrete through a window.

I hope he hangs in there. Theres a registrant near me who got ran out by some lady on nextdoor. Some hag of a soccer mom, I hope he stays in the fight. When we move away people think what theyre

I’ll credit the man for not giving in and staying right where he was. Those idiots in providence are all a bunch of miserable cowards, all of them. To include the city leadership.
