A man facing child porn charges was killed in an Arkansas jail, and now five inmates are accused of murder, police say. Terry Craig, 44, was booked into the Monroe County Detention Center after noon on Friday, Aug. 8, on charges of possession of child sexual abuse materials, and possession of a firearm by certain persons, Arkansas State Police said in a news release.
Later that day, jail staff found Craig injured inside his cell, according to police. He was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead at about 10 p.m., police said.
Four days later, on Aug. 12, officials announced five inmates have been arrested, and all are charged with murder, battery and engaging in …

Im sure they felt justified, even though they broke the law themselves. Now the idiots will spend even more time in prison, hopefully for life….
Well, I’m sure they had their reasons….right!
Something tells me those knuckleheads are lifers. And the low life sheriff didn’t mind placing them with the guy who just got caught with cp
Terry Craig, 44, was booked into the Monroe County Detention Center at approximately 12:30 p.m. on Friday, August 8, 2025, on charges of possession of child sexual abuse materials and possession of a firearm by certain persons. Within hours, he was found injured in his cell and pronounced dead at 10 p.m. that night. No public records indicate that Craig was on parole or probation, had seen a judge, or had a bail amount set prior to his death. Unlike the five inmates charged in his killing-each held on $3 million bond names are available, I chose not to name them to protect the innocent if any-Craig appears to have died before any judicial review or protective measures could be considered.
Furthermore, none of the sources explain how the alleged child sexual abuse material was discovered. And what does “possession of a firearm by certain persons” even mean? The phrase is vague and undefined in the reporting, leaving critical questions unanswered about the basis for his arrest and the conditions that led to his death.
Even more disturbing: the timeline of medical response is missing. The articles do not say when Craig was discovered, how long he lay injured, or how quickly he was taken to the hospital. That silence speaks volumes. In a facility charged with protecting life, a lot of questions are absent.
The system does have the right to investigate before conclusions are announced. But when basic facts-like medical response times, staff actions, and custody protocols-are missing from public reporting. We just wait that’s all we can do.
Arkansas remains one of the states that actively upholds the death penalty, recently expanding its execution methods to include nitrogen hypoxia.

Judging by how fast he was killed only hours of being in custody tells me that all these guys went to court together and they heard his charges and when they got back to Housing, they probably tryd to extort him or take whatever they could and in the process ended up killing him but yes sounds like these five guys were already facing a lot of time They had nothing to lose.
This guy was definitely set up by the correctional officers, He probably got into it with a couple of CO’s talking crap back-and-forth and they were like oh yeah buddy watch this.
It’s Arkansas…nuff said.
