Looks like people are crucifying Donald Trump for inviting a person forced to register to the White House. Here’s the article from today. Hate is coming from both sides.
No mention of having to register…..or am I missing something?

I haven’t noticed anyone mentioning Football Hall of Famer, Lawrence Taylor just being appointed to Trump’s children’s health team when Taylor is a person forced to register. How can he be involved with a children’s health program when he’s not allowed on school property?
Do we have any kind of update on the changes to California’s tiered registry? Seems like the last one was from Jan 2024. I thought I read that there was going to be something going before the state Senate, or a vote on the changes was going to happen.
I saw that President Trump is considering a pardon for Diddy. Wonder what he’ll be appointed to in this regime: Security of Ballroom Construction or WH rapper for dancing in the Trump ballroom.
Just a thought process I am sure some of these have been tried. SORNA, codified at 34 U.S.C. § 20901 et seq., imposes enduring civil obligations on individuals convicted of qualifying offenses, including mandatory registration, public notification, geographic restrictions, and compliance protocols. Though framed as regulatory, these measures function as mechanisms of civic ostracization, perpetuating exclusion and impeding reintegration. The constitutional standard of reasonable doubt, designed to prevent wrongful conviction, is rendered moot post-adjudication, as People Forced to Register (PFR) are subjected to indefinite obligations that extend beyond the scope of proven criminal conduct. This dynamic is further exacerbated by the rise of predictive policing, wherein algorithmic models forecast criminal behavior absent individualized suspicion, undermining the presumption of innocence and raising Fourth and Fourteenth Amendment concerns. Moreover, SORNA imposes a regime of compelled servitude without compensation, requiring PFR to perform ongoing administrative tasks under threat of felony prosecution, yet without remuneration or legal recognition of labor, implicating the Thirteenth Amendment. Compounding this is the paradox of taxation without access, wherein PFR are compelled to pay property and municipal taxes for areas they are legally barred from inhabiting or entering—including non-state-owned properties—raising potential claims of constructive tax fraud. Compliance is further destabilized by interjurisdictional inconsistency, as each state, territory, and tribal authority enforces distinct registration timelines, reporting requirements, and residency restrictions, exposing PFR to inadvertent violations and disproportionate penalties. Most gravely, this cumulative burden has contributed to a growing number of PFR deaths, whether by suicide, homelessness-related mortality, or vigilante violence—underscoring the lethal consequences of a system that perpetuates punishment beyond adjudicated guilt. These harms are now compounded by government bullying, exemplified by recent executive orders that authorize federal agencies to intensify surveillance, restrict housing access, and separate PFR from their own children under vague mandates. Such policies weaponize ambiguity, instill fear, and destabilize families, functioning less as public safety measures and more as instruments of coercion and control. In this context, it must be emphatically stated that no high court official—bound by oath to uphold constitutional principles—should ever permit such a gross example of overpowerment, especially when it involves retroactive application of law, a practice that violates the principle of nullum crimen, nulla poena sine lege and undermines due process. Retroactivity punishes individuals for conduct that was not unlawful at the time it occurred, and its use in registry expansion constitutes a breach of both ethical and constitutional boundaries.
Will I have issues flying into Texas from Michigan, then staying only 2 days? My aunt was just given less than 3 months.
Many here, including myself, have expressed opinions that there is no liberty and justice for all.
This last weekend I attended funeral services for my uncle. On the back of one of his funeral cards, his children put one my uncle’s often stated quotes “Liberty and Justice for All…..Someday”. My uncle often stated this because working as a district judge for more than 16 years he saw firsthand there is not liberty and justice for all in the judicial system.
My uncle was more optimistic than I that someday there will be liberty and justice for all.
Admin Broke Rules to Move Inmate to Club Fed Camp (Daily Beast via Yahoo 3 Aug 2025)
Savvy move by the atty perhaps to talk and get new digs? This get more interesting by the day.
A Sidney, Nebraska woman has been arrested for having sex with a 10 yr old. Another fine example of someone not on the registry committing a sex offense. Get a clue Lincoln.
Some residents of a Wisconsin town are upset the “Slenderman Killer” is moving to their town (link). The contrast with PFRs is startling: The town’s law enforcement figures are calling people down, saying there are a lot of “details” they can’t release, and keeping the actual home of the released killer a secret. It shows how reasonable police could be when PFRs who haven’t murdered children choose to live in their communities.
GOP Senator Changes Child Rape Law After Relative Accused of Sex With Minor (Newsweek 5 Aug 2025)
See…those in power will only understand after they have been impacted one way or another, in this case by a relative.
I wonder if trump, Epstein, and all of the other current drama will hurt or help with getting the state legislature to codify the changes recommended by CASOMB into law and place CP into tier I
For those here 65 and over and on SSI, a new policy went into effect 8/1/25 via an emergency memo, to continue receiving benefits, you must allow the SSA to have access to your bank account. The memo states the plan is to expand the policy in the future to other SSA benefits but did not go into details. They want to ensure one is not over the cap on cash assets and income related to SSI. Because I am not an attorney, I will not provide my non-legal recommendation, but protect yourself.
For once, we are not being singled out because of our label, applies across the board to everyone.
And another concern, today I learned the white house website took down on its website the part of the constitution regarding habeas corpus and expo-facto…sounds like one more fascist move to go along with all the other moves. But, as registered people, we are already experiencing expo-facto laws. Do the feds plan on violating these two rights for more people other than us registered?
Quote of the day “Things are going pretty poorly for you when you need a child sex trafficker to vouch for you.”
Everyone ready to play another round of “Amber Abductor”?? 🥳
I’ll give you the story, but you have to guess the culprit.
Amber Alert canceled after 3-year-old boy abducted in Los Angeles found
Was the culprit:
1. Father
2. Mother
3. Other blood relatives, or
4. A Registrant??
Honestly, why don’t they just create a “Red Alert”? Red being the color of blood to indicate the suspected abductor is a blood relation to the child.
The White House is trying to come up with a plan to replace a Supreme Court Judge. Who would be replaced and with who? At this rate why does Trump need a court he just gives them the middle finger.
Many of us walk through our days paranoid of the smallest indication might “out” us as PFRs to the public, thus ruining our anonymity and destroying our fragile emotional balance. Hopefully this will show that others experience the same thing.
I was speaking to a client yesterday who happens to be a very successful attorney in Bay Area. I was recounting to him an incident where I was sitting on a bench at a public space having my morning coffee and just enjoying the peace. This was interrupted by a woman who asked me if I had kids. Suddenly I realized that it was the 1st day of school and I was across from a grade school. The woman identified as some kind of “ safety mom” and was concerned that an adult man was looking at his phone at this place at this time. I told her I didn’t notice the kids but if it made her feel better I would go across park to another bench. I then did just that. I chose to move rather than cause concern ( btw, not on any public listing).
Well, I conveyed this encounter to my client. Low and behold , this had happened to him at a public library that he had taken his grandchildren to. The staff had approached him with same question.
So the paranoia in society has gone so far that they are shooting first then asking questions later. Seems no where is safe for anyone anymore.
Please do not go to Costa Rica. I went a few weeks ago for a vacation and was put back on the same plane and sent back home. Going out of the country we have to always report it to the sheriff 30 days in advance here in Florida. I have a California Conviction from 1996. I can’t wait till this stuff is over. Ever where you go out of the country they will send us back because they get notice from our country as if though we have just committed a crime. I have been to Juarez Mexico before where I was in a car that let us in because they did not check us going in but checked us coming out and held me while they searched my name. I was the only one they they held for about 30 minutes. I went there for dental work. The registry is a life sentence for me. I have been on the registry for July 1997.
Once a sentence is lawfully served, the state’s penal authority is extinguished. Continued obligations—such as registration, residency bans, public notification—violate constitutional protections, including the presumption of innocence, the prohibition against Ex Post Facto punishment, Double Jeopardy, and substantive Due Process, raising serious concerns about reasonable doubt. These post-sentence regimes impose burdens untethered from the original judgment and undermine constitutional equality, effectively punishing individuals twice for the same offense.
Justice is owed to the victim through lawful adjudication—not to society through perpetual surveillance. Unlike tax fraud, where restitution and sentence mark the end of state involvement, PFR face indefinite compliance demands that distort the finality of judgment and erode the rule of law.
The U.S. Sentencing Commission’s inclusion of sentence-impacted individuals in its new Sentence Impact Advisory Group is a step toward restoring proportionality—but only if their voices are empowered to challenge the civil façade of ongoing punishment. Laws are best when applied equally and within reason. Just imagine: could you live freely under such restraint? Or is this not about protection at all—but about revenge?
The other day I was shopping at this old vinyl record store in Hollywood and I came across this old Blondie album from like 1977 an there’s a song on there called (X offender) I guess the original song was about a dude going to jail for dating an underage girl but the record label thought that was to offensive so she changed the lyrics to be about a cop and a prostitute. If you haven’t heard it check it out it’s funny az H*ll 🤣
As a Person Forced to Register (PFR), I am hesitant to say anything to piss off a cop if pulled over because I have seen too many videos where cops arrest people for no reason other than retaliation for the person exercising first amendment rights or other constitutional rights. And they would love to arrest a PFR.
Was watching a video of an ex-cop who was pulled over for no legitimate reason. The ex-cop stated I want you to be aware I am videotaping you. The cop asked can you capture my good side which is my right side? The ex-cop stated, there is no good side to a cop’s face. If I said that as a PFR, I would be arrested…
For those that have filed petitions and had them granted, how long did your process take. I’m at 120 days and all I get now from my attorney is, ” We will contact you when we hear something. ” It was initially going quickly, with no issues at the DA, but suddenly nothing. I might lose a great opportunity overseas because of this. If that happens, no telling what my reaction might be.
Jurisdictional Slander By Quiet Too Long When relocating, the newly entered state imposes registry obligations on individuals with no victims owed in that jurisdiction, no convictions, and no adjudicated offenses within its borders. It relies on a shared volume from a distant jurisdiction with different values and legal standards. This constitutes post-slander: a state-sanctioned reputational harm untethered from local facts or due process. By branding and restricting individuals solely based on out-of-state history, the state manufactures new, unseen “victims” and enacts punitive stigma without trial—violating equal protection under 42 U.S.C. § 1983, substantive due process under the 14th Amendment, and the constitutional right to reputation as recognized in Wisconsin v. Constantineau, 400 U.S. 433 (1971). Such enforcement also implicates protections against cruel and unusual punishment under the 8th Amendment, and exceeds the bounds of civil regulation, amounting to defamation by state action. No justice for all—is this the message?
Hope for us people forced to register in regards to attitude towards us from the public!
A survey question put forth to 1,000 republicans…If Donald Trump was officially implicated in Jeffrey Epstein’s sex trafficking activities, would this make you more likely to vote for another party or would it not affect your vote for Donald Trump?
47% said it would not affect my vote at all. The statistic came from a poll the Canadian market research company Leger conducted in partnership with the media companies 338Canada and Maintenant Media between July 25 and 27, 2025. It was published on July 30.
