The California Sex Offender Management Board (CASOMB) met on May 21 in Sacramento. During that meeting, CASOMB revealed new trends in the California registry as well as discussed pending legislation that could affect registrants in the future. The most important news is that the total number of registrants has decreased by more than 3,000 people during the past six months. The current total number of registrants is 103,725.
