Please Sign Petition Opposing Fresno Initiative That Would Cause Registrant Homelessness

Source: ACSOL

The Fresno City Council passed a resolution in October that could lead to homelessness for many people required to register.  The City Council’s next step is consideration on a date to be determined of an ordinance that could limit a maximum of 42 registrants living in group homes in that city.

Please join me and the other two ACSOL advocates who spoke in opposition to the City Council’s efforts during a recent City Council meeting.  Your voice and opinion can be heard by signing the petition below.  It’s time to show up, stand up and speak up in support of registrants who live in Fresno.

Click here to sign the petition. It’s fast and easy.

OML SO, so we’ll written Janice, Esq., I read this I’ll and @03:am. It even makes people think, stop then how your tax dollars are wasted in this bill if it were ti come into City code. Not effective, surely.

This will wake up so many turning a blind eye to equality, and common sense so many lack in such a red county area of uneducated fear mongering goverment locally with a severe past history of just the same.

Thank you Janice.
The 1400 thank you as well as many are not even afforded info as the internet let alone housing issues exist prior and one of the worst in this Golden State that some do not have employment nor the means to communicate including knowledge of this horrible outcome the City is seeking to look and sound good to their constituents and fear mongering uneducated and undereducated citizens

I signed from Maryland and I hope other registrants, their families/friends, and other supporters send a loud message to Fresno that we aren’t taking your shit anymore. If they continue with the tough on crime ordinances and laws based on emotions filled by fear and hate then they can see Janice in court to have their asses handed to them. Janice needs a bigger purse or handbag for future lawsuits and maybe swings it around for good measure knocking down some politicians of their high horses in the process.
