in 2019, the Florida Legislature passed a Bill sponsored by Senator Lauren Book (SB 540) that was titled “Human Trafficking”.
…
The Bill passed and was signed into law, creating Florida Statute 943.0433, the “Solicitation for Prostitution Registry”. Individuals who committed the offense(s) on or after January 1, 2021 and are convicted (regardless of adjudication) on or after January 1, 2021 are currently being placed on the Soliciting for Prostitution Public Database.
So far there are none.

Could it be that many powerful people who solicit prostitutes don’t want to risk appearing on a registry and have suppressed implementation?
No, that would never happen, right?
Would Rep. Matt Gaetz quality if his allegations are true? He’s under investigation for having sex with a 17 year old and sex trafficking. Is he the one Republican Chris Smith worried about will trying to pass IML?
Electronic Gambling is going on and that used to be considered taboo. Prostitution will follow. It seems to me gangsters of a certain ilk are
making what they claim is progress. Fox Sports net was just purchased by Bally. Huge midwest media deal! FSN covered professional and college sports which is clearly now tied to electronic gambling. They’re lawfully doing what Pete Rose was banned from MLB HOF for. I could also point to the expansive and presumably regulated State Lotteries as a gateway argument. Prostitution is on of those issues government nor databases can fix despite what some claim.
Really, Florida? There have been zero convictions for soliciting a prostitute in these first 3 months of 2021?? We are supposed to believe that??
