Christine Todd Whitman, who was governor of New Jersey from 1994 to 2001, writes that she signed Megan’s Law to help parents know who is living near them so they can ensure their children are safe. While the law is not a panacea, it has helped protect kids. Full Article

and how many extremely sick politicians are exposed for their shredding of the constitution in their lust for power?
Hey Christine Todd Whitman here’s an idea for you. Check this out – instead of mouthing off, why not check some facts first!
I fully understand that fact checking goes against everything you stand for as a politician and that reality in your own mind is all that counts (to you) BUT believe it or not the real world doesn’t simply exist in your small mind.
Everyone is for helping keep kids safe…but the sex offender list doesn’t do that and that IS a proven FACT (there’s that word you seen unfamiliar with again).
Here is the sad truth. The sex offender registry has a great deal to do with why most rapes go unreported. Due to life-time punishment (the sex offender registry) for stupid things like guys urinating outside and teens having consensual sex or sexting. It waters down more serious crimes like that of rape and molestation. If a person is so bad they have to be on some kind of online hit-list then why are they even amongst us? By the registry being so punitive against families and not just individuals it’s logical that rapes and molestation become less frequently reported. The registry by default becomes it’s own worst enemy and violates it’s original purpose. It’s like holding sand. When you tighten your fist the sand falls through your fingers only to make a mess at your feet. TRUTH
All bills of attainder too
Gee, i wonder who’s running for another term in office, if not now.. how soon?
Even Canada is conceding that the United States is a place of tyranny full of evil draconian requirements used under the color of law via the sex offender registry. This is so much the case that a U.S citizen from Florida had to seek political asylum due to the cruel and unusual punishment placed upon her. See news release below:
