HESPERIA — The City Council will consider and reconsider a number of issues at a specially scheduled 3 p.m. Tuesday meeting.
Included on the agenda is a resolution approving issuance of multi-family housing revenue bonds, revisions to regulations concerning registered sex offenders and amendments to the fine schedule under emergency water conservation conditions. Full Article
Oh boy! I’ll bet this is going to be one interesting little party 🙂 Either way, I’ll bet they’ll be totally using rusty nails instead of pins on their Janice and Frank voodoo dolls!
And the backtracking begins. There is ONE and ONLY ONE, reason they are calling the special session… and it ain’t about an urgent need of house bonds or “emergency water conditions.” Congratulations, RSOL! Looks like another city is finally acknowledging the country and the state has a constitution.
At the same time they’re “considering” city business, they ought to “strongly consider” getting rid of some of those dinosaurs that are using up the oxygen in the council chambers. That might have a positive effect on the thought process and could possibly be just a smart move going forward for the city to dispose of some of its baggage that seems to be sinking the ship.
No mention of the law suit that prompted the to reconsider the sex offender ordinance.
how much do you want to bet that one or more of them is going to say, either in council or at some speech during the Night Out event, something along the lines of:
“We were forced to change the sex offender ordinance, but this is why we have the National Night Out, so we can raise awareness and protect ourselves against the registered sex offenders monsters that are lurking under every rock”
The again, maybe not in council session. MAYBE even these thick heads have learend to to spout off there (like saying too bad they can’t shoot RSOs) like they did last time.
Hope to see the vid of that session soonest.
