CA RSOL Sends Letter to Mayor and City Council of Anaheim

According to the City Attorney for Anaheim, California, the City Council is set to consider an ordinance banning registrants from entering into all community, neighborhood and “special use” parks located within the city of Anaheim. CA RSOL has written and sent this letter to the Mayor and City Council of Anaheim in opposition to the proposed ordinance.

I’m certainly sure that the City of Anahiem is presently aware of whats going on in our community (Simi Valley Lawsuit/and the suit recently filed against several cities in OC as well). Personally, its become very obvious that ALL cities throughout the US are now rescinding these laws based upon the Unconstitutionality of them. Furthermore, I was also a bit disappointed with with Tony Rackabus’s comments regarding a Sex Offender Parole! As mentioned (I hope your reading this Tony) so many times, you can’t put all sex offenders in the same realm. There is a huge difference between a 3-strikes parole and an individual who committed a misdemeanor 17 years ago? In essence, its very clear that both the DA and his assistant are using propaganda in the hopes of coercing the cities to follow their path! Although, here is the big question? WHY? Why is the DA attempting to push for these laws? Re-election? Funding? Thats the million dollar question I have.

who are on parole… umm.. so everyone off of parole should be able to live life normal.. that sounds like a good idea. Because it sounds like a good idea, it won’t be because the government don’t like good ideas.

Unfortunately I was not able to attend tonight. I am not a resident of Anaheim but I do live in Cypress where they also passed an ordinance in April, even further reaching than the park ban! it is not right, its overbroad and lumps everyone together no matter the circumstance and everyone has one. I look forward to your comments on what transpired and I do hope they paid attention to your letter. Thank you for all you are doing.

There are four more signatures needed in the petition in this website .. If you haven’t already signed, please do! It will be delivered to the O.C. DA once it reaches 500!!

Not sure this link will work … But it’s as unfair as any other OC city!!
