Polk County, Florida — Sheriff Grady Judd assembled a press conference Tuesday morning of nearly a dozen local law enforcement leaders to recognize their efforts in “Operation Cyber Vigilance,” a March-through-June crackdown that already received thorough coverage in local media.
However, he either didn’t realize – or didn’t care – that a number of the 132 men whose faces appeared on his mugshot “big board” had already been cleared of committing crimes. Full Article
Sheriff Grady Judd and other policeman in Florida (and elsewhere) all suffer from a complex of wanting to keep their jobs. It is well known that quotas are all they are interested. They want to justify their jobs…period.
They have no love of the truth…they have no respect for justice. They don’t care. They just want to justify their jobs…period.
Lazy? Sure…let’s create some stings and manufacture criminals. It will make us look productive because…we reach quotas…we look like we are actually doing something.
No…Sheriff Grady Judd and his type are the reason that the police are not respected and actually seen as lazy jokes…sitting around with powered sugar around the corners of their mouths. Those donuts ready yet?
You keep working hard Sheriff Grady Judd…you just keep working “hard”!
This sheriff and thousands of other law enforcement, prosecutors and politicians are simpletons and dolts, and that’s close to a compliment.
This reminds me all too much like my case…DA investigator changed the chat text because I had told him from the start I knew he was with law enforcement, changed the photos he claims he showed me, and his report had no facts in it, only his opinion of me…didn’t keep me from finding myself on this end of things.
Also reminds me of my time in jail, where you are NOT “innocent until proven guilty,” but seen as guilty already and are treated worse than in state prison.
Oh, and it’s great to see the media actually reporting on misconduct by law enforcement rather than siding with them on such stings!!!
Reminds me of my day in court. Everything I said in my defense was stricken from the record by a hand signal by the judge. The DA was a venomous a-hole spitting out a very long list of lies and things just made up about me. I believe I was convicted before I ever set foot in the court house.
Reminds me of my day in court. Everything I said in my defense was stricken from the record by a hand signal from the judge; it seemed well practiced. The DA was a venomous a-hole spitting out a very long list of lies and things just made up about me. I believe I was convicted before I ever set foot in the court house. My trial was a farce, a sham, a perverted caricature of justice.
Indeed, you and I and almost anyone else arrested on these so called crimes were thanks to a system that will do almost anything to continue the hype.
