There is a young man in Virginia sitting behind tall fences and razor wire, guarded by men with guns, and never allowed to leave. According to the state, he isn’t in prison, and he is not being punished for a crime. Instead, he’s being held because the government says he might commit a crime in the future. Full Article

I have a real problem with this article. The article referred to America as the land of the freed!!! It’s obvious they are not aware of what this country has been turned into!
All cynicism aside; it’s an OK article; but again I say, tell me something I don’t already know or something I haven’t already contemplated on sleepless nights.

With the United States formerly know as “the land of the free” which is a great sound bite and marketing slogan and was perhaps once true has the largest percentage of its population in jail than any other country.
The United States was always a prison of consumption, corruption, and hypocrisy.
