Wow, what a coincidence, I just finished reading that book 2 weeks ago. Got it from Amazon.

She did a great job, and it was very well researched. I can’t wait to see her current data, and wish I could attend but just can’t afford the trip from Texas. If she ever speaks here near Dallas, I’ll find a way to attend!

Chris, note this from the other post about the conference:

“Scholarships are available for those who serve as volunteers. Please send inquiries regarding volunteer opportunities to

Housing opportunities are also available for conference attendees. Anyone interested in sharing housing should send inquiries to Roger at”

If all goes as planned, my custom RV will be finished up by then and I’ll have my podcasting studio wrapped up by then as well. Count me in for this event. Unfortunately, I will not be able to bring anyone else with me.

Nick: Will you reconsider? I might like to tag along and share expenses. I am in Detroit but can meet you wherever.

Interestingly i just completed another bus acquisition. In addition to my 7.3L Diesel, I’ve now got myself a clean 2010 6.8L Triton V10 Super Duty, 24+2 Passenger ADA Non-CDL bus on a 1.5 Ton Ford Chassis, built by El Dorado. I’ve uploaded some pictures here:

The bus will be converted into an RV, but i’ll be sure to leave some passenger seating up front for these types of events. I don’t know if the bus will be ready by mid-June, but I will certainly work on it. If you email me with your contact info, i’ll get in touch with you.

Ironically, i was working on 1 bus I recently aquired when this opportunity came up. I have a mechanic lined up to swap out the transmission ASAP. If i know more people would go on these trips, i’ll be sure to keep at least two fold down seats able to accommodate up to 4 people, with dinette seating which can also handle about 4 more.

I will work as fast as I can, i’d like to start attending these events on a regular basis.

This is fantastic! Thank you!!

Any chance there will be video? Not a chance in hell I’d feel safe at an event like this.

Ah, you underestimate the legendary Janice Bellucci and Chance Oberstein. I have been attending meetings and related events for the past couple of years from San Diego to LA to Berkeley to Sacramento and never once did I feel in any kind danger. On the contrary, attendance is empowering.

Southwest is offering flights at $74

Thank you.

We have only “ONE” real challenge given our numbers. That is to convince EVERYONE on the registry and their family members that they are no longer civilians, but soldiers. Accomplishing this one goal in awakening our ranks to that simple truth will go (by far) to ending the existence of the registry as it stands. This should be our most urgent priority before all others. After accomplishing that primary goal all we need is to Organize and Mobilize. No power will match our force for change.

Exactly the kinds of things we need to pull ourselves together–thank you Janice, Chance and all the regulars here on this wenbsite for getting us to become larger and stronger. This will be my first event, and I cant help but to think we just went from fringe to mainstream–it is now acceptable for us to face the public and fight back

Would love your thoughts, please comment.x
