Starting Jan. 22, 2018, Pennsylvania residents will need more than just a driver’s license to travel domestically.

A police state will affect everyone. Just wait, everyone will have to apply for a permit to move out of state. All because of terrorists or other scary people.
According to the information on the State Department website, DHS announced 1/2016 that Real ID-compliant identification isn’t required until 2018.

PA is one of seven states considered a “limited extension” state. Another eighteen states/territories are “extension states.” Five are still completely non-compliant.
My guess is the act rushed through Congress without a hearing or an up-or-down vote in the Senate by Rightists, and signed by President George W. Bush, will be repealed.
