PA: Pennsylvania residents will need more than a driver’s license to fly in US next year

Starting Jan. 22, 2018, Pennsylvania residents will need more than just a driver’s license to travel domestically.

Driver’s licenses from the Keystone State are currently not compliant with the federal government’s Real ID Act which  set tougher standards for IDs to improve security in 2005. Full Article

So next there will be State police on boarder lines. I recalled in the 1960’s they used to have police at state’s boarder.

Next thing you know. Dogs will be living with cats, mass hysteria and ……. oh wait……. that’s already happening. Oh well. Welcome to the price club. What did the Eagles sing in Hotel California? You can check in, but never checkout. Welcome to the U.S. of totalitarianism.
ALL empires fall. Not one has survived. The U.S. is only 241 years old. The days are numbered. Can’t wait to see how this is going to affect people’s thinking of the government.

A police state will affect everyone. Just wait, everyone will have to apply for a permit to move out of state. All because of terrorists or other scary people.

According to the information on the State Department website, DHS announced 1/2016 that Real ID-compliant identification isn’t required until 2018.

PA is one of seven states considered a “limited extension” state. Another eighteen states/territories are “extension states.” Five are still completely non-compliant.

My guess is the act rushed through Congress without a hearing or an up-or-down vote in the Senate by Rightists, and signed by President George W. Bush, will be repealed.
