“I’m not thrilled about changing it,” Mayor Jenny Halverson said.
Too bad, Madam Mayor. I’m guessing he wasn’t too thrilled about having to comply with it. Welcome to Constitutional Law 101.

““Nobody wants anybody who’s nasty living next to them,” said Rosemary Piekarski Krech, an Inver Grove Heights council member.”

Say no more. Someone please remind this woman – no, this elected official and council member – that this ordinance refers to some magical invisible barrier around schools, parks and daycares. To, you know, protect the children in these settings. NOT around her house. Her statement makes it abundantly clear that this is banishment for other’s personal benefit. This should be used in every law suit dealing with the subject. Thank you very much.

Would love your thoughts, please comment.x
