You see all kinds of things on the subways, but if one New York City lawmaker has his way, repeat sex offenders won’t be among them.
City Councilman Chaim Deutsch’s proposed ban is designed to prevent certain sex offenders from taking public transportation, CBS2’s Jessica Moore reported Wednesday. Full Article
UPDATE 4/2: NEW YORK LAWMAKERS WANT TO BAN SEX OFFENDERS FROM THE SUBWAY. THAT WON’T SOLVE ANYTHING. (Commentary)
So I hope I did not make a mistake but I revealed on that site that I was a registrant. I do not care what they think or whatever but I am sure they will probably kill my FaceCrook page. Maybe we will see. That is a good place Will Allen to educate some of these people. And you might not agree with what I stated, but they have to see that we are not all like the person that the lady was talking about that she molested her 3 and 4 year old cousins. Like I stated on the site, if that was my family members the guy would not be on a list and I would be in prison. I think there is more to it than that though as the guy is just 17 and apparently not in prison. You rape a 3 and 4 year old you are going top prison I do not care who you are or how old you are or what state you are in. There are serious prison times for offenses as those. Not unless the guy did it when he was like 10 or some shit, then my statements do not apply.
I also believe this is a good proposal. If your a 2 time offender that has committed 2 offenses on the subway, you should be banned along with those who commit other crimes as well. Ie: robbery etc. Subway riders have the right to travel to and from their destination free from REPEAT offenders, no matter what offense they commit. Ie: Mike R
We already know you think it is a good proposal USA….
Damn, Will Allen was really right. Nice perception…. I did not even see it, just thought it was ignorant, but it is obviously beyond that.
It is Ok USA, we will take it easier on you. You really should listen to the adults in the room though and maybe heed some of what they say.
You are still one of us on the registry just a little misplaced by their propaganda.
It would be nice to see you answer the questions about what is the limit on this. Should you be banned from parks if you commit let say two muggings in one 30 years ago? How about a grocery store if you stole candy twice 10-20-30 years ago? What is your cutoff or offense qualifications?
Thanks @ACSOL for uploading The Appeal’s article on this topic. For the others here, it is worth the read by Guy Hamilton-Smith. He puts the hammer on the head of the topic.
