“In fact, the Department of Correction reported that of 49 people released from civil commitment from 2015 to 2017, only one went to prison — and not for a sexual offense.”

Hmmm…by my calculations, this is a ZERO PERCENT sexual recidivism rate. But, hey, I suck at math. I’m sure the politicians are much better at math than I am. [sarcasm]

Imagine the public protest that is forthcoming should he actually gain release. You can bank on that.

I’m really glad this guy’s been released. But being the pessimist that I am, I can’t help but think they’re gonna use this guy to keep up this civil commitment scheme should it ever go to the supreme court. They’re basically going to say, “It’s not really indefinite. We released a couple. Sure it was only 2 out of a million, but it proves our point.” These people are animals.

This is an outrageous claim, “Nothing much is likely to change immediately for Chapman. He’s facing new criminal charges, after he allegedly exposed himself and masturbated in front of prison staff and nurses in June 2018. He pleaded not guilty.” So the guy has been locked up for decades and all of a sudden he gets this charge when he is finally granted relief and release? If this is the case the only possible explanation, besides the Goons wanting to keep him locked up with bogus charges, would be that he does not want to be released after so long… Read more »

“Don’t want to watch me jerk-off then don’t put me in a cell and peek-in every five minutes. Don’t want to “expose” female staffers to my masturbation then don’t hire females to guard male prisoners. Really, what are you supposed to do? Not jerk-off for X number of years?

How about, let him out when his sentence was up! He could masturbate in private then!

Would love your thoughts, please comment.x
