CA: L.A. County sheriff’s deputy under investigation after sex act is caught on hot mic

Source: 12/15/22

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a deputy for allegedly engaging in a sex act during a break and broadcasting the tryst over her radio, officials said Thursday

A short audio recording first made public by TMZ captured part of the alleged encounter. In it, a woman laughs and says, “You’re going to rip my underwear!” A man replies and a beep common on police radios sounds.

A source familiar with the investigation, who requested anonymity to discuss the ongoing investigation, said the woman’s voice belongs to a rookie deputy assigned to the downtown jail complex that includes the Men’s Central Jail and that she rendezvoused with her paramour in a parking structure during a break period.

Investigators are looking into whether the man is also a Sheriff’s Department employee.

It might be an inmate for all we know. Believe it or not situations like that are not unheard of. This story brings to mind one male inmate who managed to seduce a female deputy. And it ended up getting him out of prison.

O.K. , so she abused her position, but even I have had a tryst in a vehicle when I was young (uncomfortable with bucket seats…….). This is not exactly what I would say falls under the heading of a sex offense.

She’ll probably get fired, but I didn’t read anything about her committing a sex offense. Unprofessional and stupid, probably. But not criminal.

I was tempted to comment on this as soon as I saw it. However, I wanted to see what others thought first. Hmmm….

What held my tongue, an unusual thing for me, was not a desire to align my comments to the group consensus. It was actually…shame. Shame brought on by acknowledging just how sexist my thoughts were. How’s that?

If this had been a male deputy, I would assume that he was abusing female, or even male, inmates. Basically using force or coercion to get what he wants. However, because this story is about a female deputy, I assumed it was all ok. Stupid, on her part, but not criminal. Obviously male inmates would jump at a chance to have in jail sex with a female deputy…whereas female inmates have to be victims of a male deputy. That is shamefully sexist of me.

I wanted to see if anyone else picked up on this line of thought. Not seeing that anyone did.

Women in power CAN abuse men the same as men have abused women for…always. It is sexist to assume that this deputy was not abusing her authority. For all you know, the male in this story did not want to be this woman’s…toy.

Perhaps, as a gay man it easier for me to see that. A gay man that had very unwelcome advances from a woman in authority…about half a million years ago. She was my boss, and she loved…how easy it was to talk to me…how comfortable she was around me…how sensitive…how well I listened…how…blah blah blah…how much of a gay man I was basically…and how much I wasn’t her pig of a husband.

She knew I am gay…but because I don’t, “Act gay”, she assumed I MUST be Bi. I’m not. So I can easily see a man being abused by a female deputy in a jail. Was that what happened? Probably not…but that’s not the only possible situation.

Ever think that maybe, just maybe, this deputy is Medusa’s uglier Sister? Ever think that is why she hooks up with inmates in Jail? You want to get with that? Do you? Well you better get it up…the will that is….or else. See how that works?

Ok, end of lecture. 😉

It could be indecent exposure for them both at worst, which is what a regular citizen could possibly be charged with and receive some registry time. Unless you are a famous actor who was caught in the Hollywood Hills and only received a $60 fine for some “divine” action allegedly years ago.
