Discounted Tickets Now Available for ACSOL Conference

Tickets are now available for ACSOL’s annual conference on October 2 and October 3 in Los Angeles.   The discounted price for an early bird ticket is only $150 until September 15.  After that date, conference tickets will cost $185.  Lunch will be provided at the conference on both days.

The conference will be held at the Embassy Suites Hotel North, 9801 Airport Boulevard, near the LAX airport.  The hotel has a free shuttle bus to and from the airport.  Paid parking is available at the hotel for those who drive.

The conference will begin on October 2 at 9 a.m. and end on October 3 at 5 p.m.  The conference will feature a wide range of panels and speakers who provide valuable information for registrants, their families and supporters.  The conference will also provide networking opportunities.

Panels will address important issues such as employment and housing challenges and opportunities as well as domestic and international travel.  In addition, panels will discuss early termination of parole and probation, sex addiction and treatment, as well as how to petition for removal from the registry.  Further, a panel will discuss ACSOL’s emotional support groups for registrants and family members.

Speakers include current and former ACSOL board presidents: Elie Miller, Catherine Carpenter, Chance Oberstein, and Janice Bellucci.  They will be joined in separate presentations by ACSOL board members Sean Wood, Ben Adams, Sherri Moreno, Jeff Stein, JoEllen Wiggington and Alex Landon.

ACSOL’s conference has something to offer every member of the registrant community. That includes people required to register, their families and those who support them. In addition to great speakers and panels, there will be many opportunities to network. Hope to see you there!
