The Mishawaka man admitted to similar incidents before, in two other Indiana counties. He left prison in 2010, and as a sex offender on parole, he was subject to strict rules including no alcohol, drugs or pornography. He couldn’t be around children or change addresses without permission.
That period of parole supervision, which included frequent contact with a parole officer and the possibility of drug testing, computer searches and polygraphs, lasted a little more than a year. How many of the 367 have actually be convicted of a new offense during your tenure. Another example of lazy reporting just citing anecdotal opinions. Isn’t that how this whole witch hunt started “I like to say that…”
The detective says he’s rankled by too short of sentences for sex crimes like child molestation. Okay….the guy got 30 months in a plea deal. But is the detective equally upset by defendants like my son with no record getting 36 months in prison just for downloading a picture? And no contact or communication was involved? So sorry detective. I don’t feel you. Like I mentioned before on this forum, the so called light punishments balance out the harsh out of whack punishments prosecutors and DETECTIVES……yes you detectives often push for
