WV: Chambers sentenced to nearly a millennium for child rape

A Ghent man has been sentenced to 855 years in prison on charges related to the sexual assault of his wife’s granddaughter, Raleigh County Circuit Court Judge H.L. Kirkpatrick ruled Wednesday.

Richard Chambers, 56, was convicted in August on six counts of first-degree sexual assault, six counts of incest, six counts of first-degree sexual abuse and seven counts of sexual abuse by a parent, guardian, custodian or person in position of trust.

Oh for christ’s sake just call it life at that point. These people are such hyberbolic morons it makes me sick.

Do these law makers think they’ll immortal and will live forever with everyone else? What about those who shot and kill a child, do they get over 300 years in prison? Of course not because shooting doesn’t involve sex and doesn’t get the public’s underwear in a wade of fear mongering.

Let me take a wild guess and say this guy was not on the registry at the time of the crimes.
I sure am glad the registry protected the child.
