CA: Rohnert Park: 30 sex offenders checked for compliance; 2 arrested

About 30 sex offenders living in Rohnert Park were checked for compliance with the terms of their supervision and registration requirements Friday, resulting in two arrests, police said.

The Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety said it arrested 20-year-old Enzo Rafelly ____for attempted sexual exploitation of a child by attempting to exchange child pornography.

A 45-year-old man, Paul Michael ____for , was arrested by Sonoma County Probation for a violation of his probation, police said without disclosing details.

A third sex offender, who was not identified, is being investigated by the Sonoma County Probation Department for a violation of their Post Release Community Supervision, police said.

2 out of 30, and one of those could have just been a ridiculous “technical violation”. If their goal in constantly reporting these “compliance checks” is to further prove how idiotic, useless, and wasteful the registry is, then they have more than succeeded. Of course, everyone involved will pat each other on the back for a “job well done”, while the public goes on believing that the only thing standing between them and total sexual chaos, is a bunch of overpaid empty suits and thugs with badges.

2 out of 30, so 28 were in compliance, which is truly frightening n high eh. What a waste of resources and nothing but a pat on the backs for the government, however those pats could be considered grooming and could land them on the registry.
