During a recent information session, representatives of the Monongalia County Sheriff’s Department said the county’s 20 Flock Safety license plate reader cameras captured some 572,370 unique license plate images over a 30-day period.

“If you’re a registered sex offender, you’re in NCIC. So every time a sex offender drives by these cameras, they go off,” Ralston said, explaining more hits are generated by sex offenders than anything else.
By way of example, he showed all the NCIC hits that officers were alerted to between July 1 and July 17.
During that time, 135 hits were sex offenders. Additionally, there were plates linked to 22 active warrants, six protection orders, six stolen plates, two stolen vehicles and one suspected gang/terrorist flagged by the system.
Ralston said that, by and large, hits from sex offenders don’t raise alarm bells unless there’s an active crime or warrant.

I am telling you and others here in the forum have warned you as well, it is more than just tracking license plates, but life events by those who know better but believe they can get away with it. Different entities using surveillance such as this and including this to do things no one would believe but were written about decades ago, long ago last century. You really want to know who and what…then read here in this article. PFRs as citizens need to start thinking about how to protect themselves and their families. Flood the council meetings to voice opinions against these systems, write letters to elected officials locally and nationally.
You may get off of the registry, but you won’t be off of the their master watch list regardless.

This takes insecurity and abuse of power to a whole new level.
This is just another example of the American people getting measured back to them what they are meting out so willingly on others.
We all had a little taste of living as a PFR during the pandemic, when people were told to stay at home, couldn’t visit businesses, Disney closed, among other things. People should have learned from their own brief discomfort and realized that imposing this permanently on others is inhumane and un-American, but they didn’t.
Now they’re getting to experience perpetual surveillance as well. They are waking up to the fact that being continually tracked and watched makes us less free, not more, and reduces us all to subjects serving the state, when it should be the other way around.
This won’t go on forever. There is a limit to God’s patience. He is watching, and you can rest assured He opposes those who exalt themselves over others. It’s only a matter of time before He acts.

This morning I saw two Flock cameras within 5 ft of each other at a Lowes and near a CVS here in Maryland ( MD stands for Maryland and not that I’m a doctor). Are people stealing lumber, plants, and whatever from Lowes then knocking over CVS for medications? I was wearing a t shirt, ” You can’t spell awesome without me.” Good thing I wasn’t wearing Flock the cameras and the police state.

Then are lawsuits being generated against these systems for what is multitude of alleged reasons as well as noted lobbying efforts by this company (and probably others similar to it) for states, et al to grant grants for these systems to be put into place in addition to people returning these cameras to the owners at the place of operation (aka the cop shop). It is a full blown tech conflict between the powers that be and the people.

As if it was not serious before, it will be very soon. The public needs to be standing up more against this and start to demand access to the data when LE vehicles come across a surveillance camera to know where they are at as much as possible. Access to the entire network from coast to coast is crazy and creates what we have been warned about for ages.
BTW, it looks like San Jose, CA is going to court via the ACLU and EFF stating this surveillance system violates the state constitution.
