A House committee easily passed a bill, 18-1, prohibiting restrictions on where sex offenders can live yesterday, noting that judges have twice ruled residency restrictions unconstitutional. As I see more and more judges adhering to the state constitutions, I’m more and more impressed by those who founded them long ago and these judges who respect their content.
I might add it’s also quite refreshing when lawmakers learn to do the right thing even when it’s unpopular.
OMG! If something is unconstitutional in NH isn’t it unconstitutional in California???
Maybe if we ask nicely we can get New Hamshires house committee to educate Californias house committee!!!!!!
