NH: Sex registry questioned after prep school grad’s conviction

CONCORD, N.H. (AP) – A graduate of an elite prep school who was convicted of having sexual contact with a 15-year-old classmate as part of a game of sexual conquest will be required to register as a sex offender for life, a punishment his lawyer likens to being branded and legal experts and reform advocates say exceeds the crime. OK, after reading the article, Amanda Sexton is a complete idiot for calling this guy a predator and saying he deserves lifetime registration, which we all know basically ruined his future, when the girl admitted she willingly went along with the “Senior Salute.” I know a lot of you here are anti-conservative/anti-Republican, so it’s refreshing to see that a Republican State Senator seemed open to changing the current laws.

I always appreciate your comments they are well thought out. As you, I would like to see the liberal democrats step up. In fact it was Bill Clinton who started this train and California is one of the toughest states on the RSO population, with a majority of liberal democrats at all levels of government. They all discard the fact that this destroys complete families not just the RSO. I’VE been dealing with this evil treatment for 33 years the laws get tougher but the numbers continue to increase. we do not need new laws we need healing programs for all. I pray for all who have to deal with this. I will never give up hope and one good thing they are ever increasing our power in numbers.

Although I don’t know the details of this case, I feel sorry for the GUY! This kind of thing goes on at every school in the country every day of the week; he just happened to get caught. Hell, his dad probably did the same thing at his age. 18 year old guys are usually less mature than 15 year old girls; you know THAT’S true!
“Predator”; pssh…gimme a break. All high school seniors are predators if you use Ms. Sexton’s definition.
