I’m not sure I’ve ever read an article that illustrates the ridiculous paranoia of American parents as much as this one.

Shut down school because ONE sex offender is allowed to vote at a polling place in a school?

I would be more concern with some of these parents coming on the school grounds or living near schools. When one thinks this stuff up and speaks it out IS likely to act on it.

When natural disasters strike (earthquake, tornado, hurricane) schools are often used as a gathering place for those put out by the disaster. They are used to serve people in need of food, housing, and medical treatment. Most can show up and get whatever help they need. We show up and we get arrested. Same happens if you try to vote. Same could also happen if your church decides to operate some sort of school during the week? Maybe I will be arrested next Sunday while I’m at church with my wife and kids.

I agree Jason…Makes you wonder over and over again. What is wrong with people? Shut down a school because of the fact one Registrant might vote! Have a police guard there, seriously with all that is going down in the world they collectively as a group are concerned with that? Pathetic is the only word that comes to mind.

But truly what is the bigger concern is that these people themselves might be voting. And if they are as ill informed about citizens on the Registry think about how ignorant they are about the issues and candidates will be passing judgment on………

ok we heard what the spaz mothers had to say about this ( Problem ) , what about the ex offender , and how it must feel to (Have) to walk into a den of wolf’s just to vote , if he is really a (Problem) , it seems to me that the spaz mom and dads should know that Voteing is not some hipster club that just for them , NO! its for All citizens! , they must like having adults that they (Think) are safe around there kids school??? because the people that they know are not on some web site???!
