I for one am looking forward to this meeting. I am currently on parole and am restricted from other “step” support groups because of their locations. I am very interested to learn what this is all about. My wish is that there will be a decent show of support. Anyone else?

I was wondering if people attend these meetings. Coming from Orange County is a long drive for a no show meeting. Who from this board is planning to attend? Also, I was thinking about arranging a meeting here in OC kind of like a meet up. It can be a meeting at a local Starbucks or any other venue. It would be a good place to network, meet others in the same boat, laugh and talk about strategies about how to end these insane laws. Someone in every area could start informal meetings like this as it might be too far for some to travel to LA or San Diego. Thoughts?

or maybe an old denneys , or something like that , I don’t no of to many people that will come kern county , but their is an old dennys right off the old the I-5 on buck owens bvr , good thinking man

I’m writing here because I have no where else to write. I will put down my thoughts and feelings for the final time.
I have nothing left to live for. No family, no friends, no future. I accept that I put myself here. I looked at a few pictures and now the world thinks I’m a monster. Well the world is full of monsters, and I’m going to rid it of one. I wish all of you get to where you are happy and loved. This forum has been a way for me to come to grips with my path in life. Good bye.

OAR, nobody here thinks you are a monster. You are a human being – with God-given dignity and purpose on this earth, even if life seems horrible and dark. As 72 FLH says, we need you in this struggle. Take care – and hang in there, one day at a time, no matter how hard it gets. People on here know what you’re going through and will stand with you in spirit.

Maybe this will sound like a waste of time but it helped me. I got a dog. Doing that helped me to focus on something other than myself. It meant I had to get up to feed her and walk her and spend time as well. It’s in the same vein as 72FLH is saying. Plant, pet, project.. get involved with something. Don’t let the negative part of this world win. If you need help, a place to stay, you’re welcome to come here. I’m not the most social person you’ll meet but you’ll have someone that has your back.

OAR, many of us have thought the same. Historically, minorities in the U.S. have been called subhuman, and dealt with cruelly. Think how many millions of slaves wondered why they should continue living.

I’ve lost my job and had fraud committed against me because people saw me on the website.

Many of us RCs are living in poverty, have few resources, have lost family, and are homeless.

We could give up.

But we shouldn’t.

Why, you ask?

Because we are not monsters.

Because we can change our behaviors and patterns of thinking.

Because we can change things. It will take time. It will take many of more of us willing to take the time and effort to be heard. But it will change. A few years ago I didn’t know they would, but as you can see by recent court decisions and by less anti-RC bills passing in many states, THE PENDULUM IS SLOWING and hopefully will strongly go the other way.

But most importantly, because you are not alone. There are millions of RCs! Communicating to each other takes us out of isolation and despair. Leaving messages here gets us part of the discussion.

We each have a voice. Many of us have a vote. Let’s use it.

And we will change the future for the better.

There is hope.

O.A.R,,,,,, look here man we have all lost , I have lost everything a few times . but giving up is not an option , because your needed in this fight , and that means you have hope in this very negative world , you have a chance to turn at least a piece of this world positive once more , I feel you man but this is part of life , its never to late to start fresh , and you know thats not easy when your RSO , it gets dark at night , but the sun comes back , and so dose spirit , the spirt runs down when its taxed , but like the sun it will come back ,, only to become stronger , sounds like its time for a change , Fishing? you should grow something anything , house plants , its life you can help manage , but hey man if your gone we are one more soul down , and most of us care , but its ok you feel this way , its in the norm I think , but act on it in a positive way Bro , we will be looking for you on here , when ever your ready to deal , I hope you get to feeling better soon , your brother in arms , Coyote

Take my hand OAR….Get back up.
Let the light shine through from darkness.
You keep writing here…whatever your thoughts……just communicating with us helps you…please keep writing here. It really helps.

Are these emotional groups still going on?

Would love your thoughts, please comment.x
