Hi, Janice,

With California reverting back to its “normal” community affairs and operations on June 15 (at least so it’s claimed), is there a good chance of resuming in-person group support any time soon?

I’m a bit confused I’m not quite sure if I’m on the page of this issue but I have an attorney who is going to investigate my situation relating to requirements of SOT/ registration she informed me that based on what she now believes to understand she is optimistic at getting me back into court and getting the registration off me she implied that I am not on Megan’s law nor any case history whatsoever of I’m seeking advice on these matters and case law that may be relevant

Kenneth – Is your attorney in California? Would you be able to share her information? We are in need of an attorney for a case I have been working on and doing research for, but I would need a little legal guidance, too.

When are we going to get Judges that will stand up and declarer these laws unconstitutional? some of us living under socialism and most are not and people are crying about wearing masts. get on the offender list and then you can really cry or restrictions to some things. Why are the Judges supporting white supremist laws? The only two subjects that get any kind of attention are gun control and sex offender laws which seem to be the way to get elected these days to have voted yes on anyone of these subjects. U dont have to break any laws in Washington State to get denied to get off the list, all you need is hear say and your screwed. It is punishment plain and simple. When I was terminated from my rent because of my level and having a hard time finding a place, well the prosecutor said that’s no excuse. Even Vets with sever case of PTSDE have to put up with socalist laws. and we are suicidal enough without harassments. It causes more crime against people rather then secures peole, We need a Clarence Darrow with balls to fight hard against registration and have a dam good argument against it because it will haver to go to the Supreme court to end it and I think the recent appointments might do that. Been on the list for 24 years and they wont let me off. The Judge would not even accept my re evaluation.

It got to be a way to give a human a chance to be able to live in peace after they have complied with the requirements. Law was made for justice NOT to only fulfilled prisons so third party organizations get richer and favor only certain group of people!

Good phone meeting! ☎️
Thank you, Janice & Chance! 🙂

My attorney is in fact in California, Humboldt County just for the record I did not start registration until 2001 my second 214 D became a felony tacked on from a misdemeanor 214 D in 1980 my attorney informed me that I fall under the 10 year registration I am not on Megan’s law never was my attorney is a present in the mix of research I am awaiting her call or I call her back

Please what exactly is tiered registration and how may this effect myself and others

I heard a podcast on here which the speaker stated that registration would change if becomes expensive so why is California’s law on 10-20 years parole,in which the proponents claim is for public safety, if so why isn’t it applied retroactively? 3 strikes was declared not to be ex post facto so why not the new parole law? It’s not being applied retroactively because of the high cost to the state, if that’s the case then how is it meant for public safety then? I hope Ascol litigates to get the state to apply it retroactively?

The Tiered Registry Law is being applied retroactively. That is, it applies to anyone already on the CA registry as well as those who will be convicted in the future.

Would love your thoughts, please comment.x
