IL: Felony child sex offenders evade background checks, state law to make state fair carnival vehicles in Illinois work

Source: illinoisnewstoday.com 9/22/21

Illinois State Police investigation is “open and ongoing” Agricultural Ministry may terminate carnival company contracts as “indignated” After investigating Target 3

Springfield, Illinois — A registered sex offender six months after the Illinois Correctional Bureau released 41-year-old Jason Flynn from state prison on Ferony’s conviction, including sexual abuse of a 12-year-old child. Was working on a carnival. Equipment near toddlers at the Illinois State Fair.

Despite background checks protocols and state law designed to keep child sex offenders away from children at fairs, the WCIA survey is a series that allows Flynn to land on the salaries of carnival vendors who worked for at least four days. Revealed amazing gaps and loopholes in the moon.

For the first time in 23 years, the Illinois Department of Agriculture brought a new carnival vendor to the Illinois State Fairgrounds and signed a 10-year contract. According to industry publications, the Arkansas-based Miller Spectacular Shows Replace long-time vendor last fall. The new company, which previously set up du Quoin state fair rides, brought gear to Springfield last month and began installing several large rides, including the “Adventure Village”, to attract children.

Illinois State Police officials said they had conducted a background check on the list of workers provided by the carnival company, but did not mention Flynn’s name. Later, when someone found a registered sex offender and reported it to the authorities, state soldiers took him off the premises.

Whomever wrote this story sucks at writing. Sheesh!!!

Did the registry gain sentience and write this article? It reads like it’s been translated into Korean and retranslated back a dozen times.

“State Soldiers”?

“gaps and loopholes in the moon”?

@dram:
Actually, given how militarized the local and state donut shops are, soldiers isn’t too far off the mark!

I agree!! I think a 9th grader taking a journalism class could do a much better job writing this article. So many errors!

Meantime, the paragraph that stuck out more than anything else basically is the following:

““It’s very annoying,” said Republican Senator Steve McClure from Springfield, who easily charged child sex crimes in Sangamon County. “Much more children go to state fairs than go to county trade fairs. There are more people there. Therefore, children can be separated from their parents or lost in the crowd. The sexual risk is much higher. “”

This is how a state senator speaks? Such stupidity is beyond belief with this statement!!
What do they mean by “easily charged child sex crimes”? Is the author saying the Senator brings charges? Then the senator states that because there are more people at a state fair there is a better chance of sexual risk? Really?! Talk about ridiculous non-fact to justify something.

You really have to read the entire article. It is amazing how poorly it is written and how many things just don’t make any sense. Did anyone proof read it before being published?

Its a scare story about Sex Offenders, so…. No. We have to makes sure all our ducks are in a row to counter these kinds of story and any errors will be used to scrap our narrative even if the story is true. The other side just needs fear mongering and no amount of errors in writing, grammar or facts will discount what they are saying.

I wonder if this article makes more sense while hungover. I stopped reading after the fourth sentence or what looked like it.

I can write a story. Like this. Registrants aka Sex offenders to the ignorance of the public. Ain’t not a threat. To you or your family. If you can’t protect yourself. Live in bubble or don’t have children. If you is stupid say no to sex.

I wonder if they would grasp that story. It’s on their level of comprehension.
