Uber’s lawyers getting death threats over sexual assault cases

Lawyers representing Uber Technologies have told a judge they received death threats after the New York Times published an article in August critical of their legal strategy and claiming that they were attacking the credibility of the women accusing drivers of sexual assault.

Wow, 4000 sexual assault cases among those who were deemed “safe”! Despite all of the safety protocols and background checks, apparently predators have found the ideal profession with which to commit their assaults. But wait? doesn’t the registry exist to protect women and children from predators? Who is to blame, Uber, or the registry?
