CLEARWATER, Fla. (WFLA) — Michael Jonathan ______ was convicted on 17 counts of having child pornography on his computer.
Court documents show he had more than 300,000 sexually explicit images of child pornography.
Friday, he stood before Judge Julie Sercus to ask that he be allowed to live in his home while serving probation for his convictions.
The state argued that there is a park and a daycare located in close proximity to the home Michael would like to remain in.
His attorney said the park doesn’t even have playground equipment.
“There is a definition within a park,” defense attorney Maria Pavlidis said. “There is a place where children congregate. This is not a situation that is a place where children congregate.”
However, a group of mothers who live in the area said their children play in the park behind Michael’s home all the time.

“I’m the person who found the screen,” Martinelli [His ex-wife] said. “I’m the one who reported him, and I have been fully supportive of him being removed from society.”

Floriduh mother’s, how many neighbors are you 100% sure they aren’t committing a sex crime? The registry didn’t protect those children because this guy’s crime was a first time offense. Time to get off your soap box, take out your curlers, and end your God awful unrealistic pearl clutching.
“I lived with this man and was married for 18 1/2/ years, together for 19 years, and I never saw anything for me to think that he was a bad guy,”
“I’m the person who found the screen,” Martinelli said. “I’m the one who reported him, and I have been fully supportive of him being removed from society.”
Friday, the judge ruled Wood has to move out of his home in two weeks.
“I have to say that I am extremely pleased and happy with the results today,” Martinelli said.
This man’s ex-wife is his worst enemy. Very sad. 😞
