Question: Why doesn’t the headline mention that the man who won custody of a six-year old is the girl’s father? Answer: Because it doesn’t sell newspapers. I truly believe that if the headline were changed from “sex offender” to “father”, the story would not have been printed or perhaps even written. This is yet another example of fear and sensationalism winning over logic and compassion. As for myself, I am pleased with the judge’s ruling and wish father and daughter great success even if no story is written about it.
If the “victim” has testified under oath that the molestation never happened, then someone somehow needs to use this to help this man stop having to register! Unfortunately, this case, rather than be a celebration of a man getting his daughter in spite of the mother doing everything she can to prevent him from even seeing the daughter, I’m afraid this is going to be used by media to generate more animosity toward registrants. The next move in the witch hunt might be an attempt to prevent all registrants from having custody of minors, we need to watch things like this closely.
Even though I think the mother deserves some form of punishment for having put the child through all this, a part of me says a child needs both parents and the mother owes her child an apology for her bad behavior with an explanation the girl will understand. Apparently the mother was concocting this story to gain sole custody. But, is it in the best interest of the child to not have shared custody with her mother? Sure it’ll teach the mother a lesson about respecting the court, but at what cost to the victim here? I just don’t believe in punishing parents bad behavior by taking their children unless the parent has shown violent tendencies towards their kids. I’m happy the father will be a bigger part of his daughters life now.
And I concur that had he not pleaded no contest to the charges many years ago this story never would have been printed. The mother knew of his previous charges and registration requirement, yet it never occurred to her that he would pose a danger to her child until they were separated?
Elizado lost custody because he was stopped by Bakersfield police, who after searching his truck, found an old rusty bullet. This is OBVIOUSLY a setup, I cannot come up with any other reason.

Is there anyone at RSOL willing to reach out to this guy and maybe help him with a legal solution? “Speeding” is the #1 pull-a-car excuse when a corrupt official is stalking a motorist with some malicious intent…which in this case is acting under color of law to serve the interest of a private party (most likely the mother or some vigilante group). There is nooooo way on God’s green earth this is a coincidence! Stalked + Harrassed = Lawsuit.
Unfortunately, the cops know the odds. Had this been any other person the lawyers would have been all over the DA’s office like flies to copcrap.
