I am outraged, again. This poor man made an “honest mistake”, and even the judge acknowledged that, so why did he have to take a Plea Deal? The judge could have made the ultimate ruling to let him go without any penalties. Again, it shows that this is unfair to have someone plead out of fear for a harsher sentence at trial. This should have been dismissed on the spot. It is scary that our lives depend on those who sit in those chairs. Appalling.
Wow, the judge even sounded like he believed the accused had a shot at winning this. Still, I would probably have made the same choice, under the circumstances.
I noticed the judge gave less time to the woman then men, when it came to drunk driving. I thought woman were equal.
