Consensual sex between a 44 year old and a 16 year old (with a crush)is such a horrible crime that hearsay evidence is allowed.
Give me a break, please.
What a crazy world where parents can’t possibly protect their children from being bombarded by sexual stimulus and yet it’s considered taboo (as defined by the state)
Heaven forbid if they yield to it’s temptations (outside of the state guidelines) they will surely be ruined for life.
Or maybe none of it’s true and just hearsay from a frivolous teen.

Have you ever seen the Disney channel show “16 and pregnant?” Just another in the long list of sexually oriented mentally insulting TV shows out there.
No, Q, I have not but I do know the new Disney is a far cry from the old.
I can no longer assume their content is suitable for my 8 year old.
Let me get this right…if a teen girl claims to have had sex with a teacher to impress her friends when in reality she hasn’t, then potentially he could be convicted based on the testimony of her friends. This judge needs to be removed, pure and simple.

It looks that way. Just like in Nazi Germany or the former Soviet union; all it took to be arrested and have your life destroyed was an accusation.
I can attest to that…my life was destroyed by a false accusation. Once I was arrested, I was told I was nothing more than a criminal and no one believed anything I had to say, even when it was so obvious the prosecution’s story wasn’t accurate. The strongest evidence against me? The statement by an investigator from the DA’s office giving his opinion of me and what he believed me to be thinking and what he believed I might do. Oh, and there wasn’t even a victim(I smarted off to someone I suspected was undercover doing one of those internet… Read more »

That sucks in a BIG way! It’s not uncommon for criminal police to fabricate and falsify against someone they don’t like. If I was you I’d be looking for an attorney to challenge this injustice and have those criminals kicked off of their department and prosecuted!!!
I’m looking at the two witness’ testimony statements and see a “Victim” whose story seems rather inconsistent. Probably a Victim of convenience when things don’t go her way. I would dismiss as she will probably find a way to manipulate our system again if she’s rewarded with an approval. If she lied to her boyfriend and friend to begin with, Who’s to say she isn’t lying now.
