The new law prescribes 60 days in jail for renting (even short term) to someone on the registry. Can’t imagine something like this happening in Florida (sarcasm). Does Florida even have a Constitution? Not only does an RC have zero rights there, but property owners are now forced to make 100% sure they are not renting a room to certain citizens under threat of jail. What a sick and morally bankrupt mentality.

People who support their kind of BS are immoral and not Americans. And politicians who do it are thieving criminals.

People don’t seem to care much however. You will extremely rarely see anyone with a brain comment on such articles and say they support the BS. People are generally commenting very little on many articles such as this one. Doesn’t seem to be too much concern.

Okay, I am going to look for silver in this big, black cloud. The Marco Island City Council has moved another class of law-abiding people to their sex offender criminal web. Soon, they will be adding employees of McDonald’s for serving a ‘Big Mac’ to a RC on their list of criminals. It will not be long they will have the majority of Marco Island targeted for jail, whom may vote these jerks out of office.

Yes there is not much concern about this. There are people who will be concerned about the rights of foreigners in Guantanamo (I agree, we should be concerned about our country violating anyone’s human rights), but if the story carries the label sex offender, all of a sudden even smart people close their minds and remain silent.

Would love your thoughts, please comment.x
