Registered sex offenders face numerous barriers to finding stable housing when they return to the community from jail or prison. Improved housing stability reduces the likelihood of recidivism and makes it easier for registered sex offenders to comply with the terms of their parole or probation. However, creating transitional and permanent housing solutions for registered sex offenders often faces substantial push-back from communities, making it difficult to fund and operate these housing programs. Since the “society” is so particular about who lives where, in the case of sex offenders needing stable housing as a building block to rehabilitation; society should pay for their housing costs.

I concur. In a sense, these laws are creating it impossible for someone to succeed. People are losing jobs/housing and it’s so difficult (handicap). Furthermore, legislators should pass laws protecting these individuals.

It’s sickening. I just watched Hillary on Good Morning America in an interview where she went into detail how she wants those who made mistakes and were jailed or imprisoned should have many more opportunities to re-enter society. Registered Citizens were not addressed.

She wants to remove that box on work applications that ask if you were ever convicted of a felony.

I just don’t trust her. This woman has been caught in so many lies in her political career, I just don’t believe her. And when it comes to RC’s, I’ll bet we would hear a whole different story from her.

If you, “Hillary” really care about those who have served their time and paid their debt to society, then abolish the Registries.

So if you want my vote, Hillary…then tell me you plan to eliminate the SOR completely.
