I don’t understand. If registration is no punishment at all, just a minor inconvenience as the courts have ruled time and again, then what is it we would be shielding children from by exempting them from registration?

Treatment instead of registration ..Why for some and not All..?
The proposal Must include every person to the…..”instead of registration.”
Equal treatment would be a good start.
Age discrimination..? Equal Protection of the law..?
A registry has the same effect on everyone regardless of age of those on it.

yes and despite all the hyperbole that juveniles have a lower recidivism rate the facts are that juveniles have a much higher propensity to re-offense than adults their data shows 7% compared to adult’s 5% or less

Sorry Moore Center, but those in power have determined that the registry is not cruel, punishment nor does it create harm for those registered.

If she can be convicted as an adult for assaulting or killing someone, then she needs to be treated like an adult for playing doctor with her little brother.

No exceptions. No waivers. If convicted and that state requires registration, then she needs to be registered. If she moves at ANY time in her life to another state, then she needs to register in her new state.

She’s a pervert and the American people will not risk the safety of their citizens to protect one little deviant mutant who displayed what was “natural curiosity” thirty years ago and has become a felony today.

In fact, I think Americans should go through all marriage and birth record and convict ANY man or woman who is still alive who had a child while under age. Years ago the gun holders would turn their eyes from a molester if she married her victim. We need to start convicting those people, so their descendants can then also be the children of sex offenders.

Ugh, this again?

Either no one registers or everyone does.

That was real cute of Johns Hopkins to post this info on June 9 and tell us we could submit comments until the 10th of June.

We have a host of comments that they need to hear right here on this site.

They do not want to hear all of the comments so they shut down as quick as they put it up.

Frank

Yes, they must remove children from the ex offender registries and so cleanse their failed cause of any doubts about its effectiveness or morality. Then they can feel pure and righteous again, because after 18, your life is has no value.
