Law enforcement officers with the Craven County Sheriff’s Office arrested five suspects recently on sex offense violation charges.
____, 30 year old and of New Bern, was charged with felony failure to report new address and living within 1,000 feet of a school as a sex offender.
______, 47 years old and of New Bern, was charged with felony failure to report sex offender,…

May they and theirs reap what they sow.
Notice how the title reads…..arrested… for sex offense violations.
This is false and misleading, and leave it up to the media, and their editors to produce such a misleading title.
The title should read something like ‘multiple people arrested for registration violations’.
There is a universe of difference between a sex offense and a registration violation!!
looks like they are arresting family members and at the end of the article there is this “If you have any knowledge on the whereabouts of these suspects please contact the sheriff’s office” and if you don’t well……….the compliance came to my locked gate yesterday and questioned a personal assistant what she was doing there she called me and I told her not to let them in. she didn’t so I called the number left by the civil servant and asked for her badge # she told me she did not have one.
I remember reading back in the day in Corona, California. There was a guy and he was living with his girlfriend and her mom, and the Riverside County District, attorneys office indicted the girlfriend and the grandmother for lying to law enforcement and adding to commit a felony for failure to register and CPS took their kids.
Another guy was driving down the street in Orange County California with his two little daughters when he got pulled over he was in his dads old pickup truck when the cops stopped him they searched his vehicle and found one bullet. He explained to the cop this was his dad’s truck and his dad and his brothers and uncles go hunting a lot and that he had no knowledge of any firearms or ammunition in the vehicle when he went to pick his kids up. The Orange County district attorney’s office struck him out under the California three strike law 25life He had just previously won full custody of his daughters from their mother who was on drugs. The county ended up giving the kids back to the mother.
