NM: Sex offender registration can be confusing issue

All of you are so involved in the vital protection of your rights of where you can be present! So it makes no sense to elaborate on this article other than to say “Ruidoso” is a Spanish word. Just for fun, look up the English meaning……

This has go to be the most misguided and ignorant statement I’ve ever read. I suppose he also thinks that being on the registry is some sort of “second chance.” And of course this cop thinks he’s “making a difference” in the community. Pffft..

Thank-you L.Mitaro for noticing one of the difficulties of this article brought to you by the folks from ” The Ruidoso News”, located in downtown Ruidoso, the county seat of Lincoln County.
My favorite part is the Sheriff alludes to laws “changing all the time”; the last change was in 2013 ( House Bill 570). Before that their were NO significant changes all the way back since 2006….

Additional geographical note: Lincoln County may have suffered long-term effects as just west of the county line is where the first Atomic Bomb was exploded in1945. And just east of the other county line lies Roswell, where aliens landed in 1947….Moderator:These are true facts !!
